چکیده

β-peptides are peptide-mimetics with wide biomedical and biotechnological applications. Their most peculiar feature is their readiness to fold into various secondary structures not found in natural counterparts. Furthermore, β-amino acid insertions polypeptides were provide unique features also increase enzymatic stability. This due the additional methylene group backbone, which on other hand makes it impossible use established algorithms computational tools developed for α-peptides proteins. An extension PyMOL v2.x molecular graphics environment presented β-peptides, allows rapid graphical visualization greatly simplified model building studies, special emphasis put direct formation of diverse folding states.
